The LV ABMS is easily adaptable for use on existing 40mm low-velocity grenade launchers such as the STK 40GL, HK69A1, M203, M79, AG36, MK13, M320A1 and Milkor and Rippel Effect MGL.
Air Bursting Munition
ST Engineering’s 40mm LV ABM is uniquely different from conventional 40mm ammunition. Using a programmable time fuze technology, the time to detonation is computed and programmed into the round’s time fuze after the round exits the muzzle. The timer in the fuze counts down to zero, detonates at the intended spatial point and showers the target with a cloud of lethal fragments. The round is highly effective against defilade targets, troops in the open, under cover behind buildings, windows and in bunkers. The ammunition can also be programmed to burst right in front of an armoured vehicle to destroy the optical equipment on the vehicle.

The 40mm Door Breaching round is a low-velocity grenade designed to quickly force open closed and/or locked inward-opening steel and wooden external doors using blast pressure.
Used with any standard 40mm grenade launcher, this round is ideal for use in Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) scenarios where engagement distances are short, yet require the warfighter to retain the element of surprise during the breaching exercise.
Survivability is enhanced with safer engagement distance compared to conventional breaching methods and reduced risk of collateral damage by fragmentation.

The 40mm Target Practice Day & Night Marker (DNM) enhances the warfighter’s training effectiveness by allowing clear recognition of the 40mm round’s impact after firing.
A fixed round ammunition consisting of an inert aluminum or steel projectile body fitted with a plastic cap filled with a high visibility luminous orange dye, the round is designed to ensure safe and effective training and is compatible with all existing grenade launchers.
It does not produce unexploded ordnance (UXO) and provides visible colour clouds upon impact and a luminous dye in the dark. Its impact signature marking is visible through night vision equipment including Image Intensifiers and Thermal Imagers.
